What are you in for?
On a recent summer swell, several surfers were given tickets for surfing too close to the pier. Eternal Wave team rider Shawn Clark was among those ticketed. Of the more than 20 surfers in the water, only two tickets were written. Several witnesses stated that Shawn was not one of the surfers too close to the Pier, but the cop did not budge. This is one of the few times Shawn wished he wasn't such a standout in the water.

Area surfers traveled to Jaco Beach, Costa Rica to compete in the Costa Rica Excursions Surf Classic. Team Eternal Wave took top honors in the team competition. Surfers Shawn Clark and Alex Sing also took top honors in their age groups.
